Data Cable Infrastructure with Door Access & CCTV in SEN Bristol School

Special School for Autism & associated needs | Bristol

The Brief

The Challenge

The refurbishment of Manor Wood School presented a complex logistical puzzle. Catering specifically to students with autism and associated needs, the environment required absolute stability and silent, non-intrusive technology.

AC Digitech was brought in during the early stages of the structural refurbishment. We faced the challenge of designing an infrastructure that could handle high-bandwidth needs while the building was essentially a shell, ensuring that the final aesthetic remained minimalist and clean to provide a calming atmosphere for the students.

The Result

We delivered a seamless technological ecosystem centered around student safety and operational efficiency. The installation features 4K AI-powered cameras capable of behavioral pattern recognition to ensure safety without intrusive monitoring.

To bridge the gap during the initial construction phase where traditional connectivity was unavailable, we deployed a high-speed Starlink loaner system, ensuring the project management team had uninterrupted gigabit access from day one.
